Essential oils can be a powerful add-on to spring cleaning especially for freshening high-traffic spaces. Tea Tree is a go-to for cleaning, often used to help tackle musty areas and support a “sanitized” feel.
Thyme has strong antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, making it an excellent alternative to conventional cleaners. Orange and Lemon are rich in limonene and help lift odors and leave a bright “just cleaned” scent with their antibacterial-leaning properties. Eucalyptus brings a clean, clarifying aroma perfect for use in high-touch areas and mildew-prone spaces. Lastly, Rosemary is excellent for deodorizing rooms and fabrics. Diffuse after cleaning or add diluted drops to a spray. |
